- Scotland names 191

Commonwealth Games Scotland has named 191 athletes (108 men and 83 women) selected for Team Scotland to compete in Delhi. The team size is similar to Manchester at 193 and is significantly bigger than the 166 selected for Melbourne. - Canadian athletics name team

Athletics Canada announced a team of 40 athletes to compete at Delhi. Commonwealth Games veterans Angela Whyte of Edmonton and Diane Roy from Sherbrooke will lead the team into Delhi. - Two new board members for Glasgow 2014

Glasgow 2014 has appointed two new members of the Board - Eileen Gallagher and Glasgow 2014 Chief Executive, John Scott - to strengthen the Board’s connections to the Broadcasting Industry, ahead of the signing of a Host Broadcaster, and to strengthen the links between the Glasgow 2014 Executive Team and the Board.

The contract to design and produce a number of pin badges for the Glasgow 2014 Organising Committee has been awarded to Ross Promotional Products Ltd, based in Crimea Street in central Glasgow.
